Andrew George, CPA
Andrew George has significant experience executing financial statement audits and risk compliance assessments for financial services, asset management and manufacturing companies. He has helped plan and implement audits for hedge funds with up to $25 billion AUM and Fortune 500 food and consumer companies. Mr. George has worked with multiple diversified investment portfolios consisting of long and short equities, asset-backed securities, fixed income and various derivatives. His previous responsibilities include audit procedures over multiple areas, including: cash, management fees, performance fees, capital allocations, receivables and payables, inventory, realized and unrealized gains and losses, unrecorded liabilities, subsequent events and financial highlights.

Mr. George possesses an expertise in Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance and risk assessments, external financial reporting and financial statement auditing and investment portfolio valuation.
Prior to joining High Ridge Partners in 2018, Mr. George spent several years in PricewaterhouseCooper’s Risk Assurance and Financial Statement external audit groups, with an industry focus on financial services and manufacturing clients. At PwC, Mr. George was responsible for helping plan and execute Sarbanes Oxley 404 audits and financial statement audits for Fortune 500 food and consumer companies, hedge funds, mutual funds and insurance companies.
Education and Professional Associations
Mr. George received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy with honors from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University of Ohio in 2014. He graduated Cum Lade with a minor in Information Systems Analytics.
Mr. George is a is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Mr. George serves on the Auxiliary Board for Volunteers of America, where he helps organize philanthropic events throughout the community, specifically centered around assisting former military veterans.
