Background
Greg Apathy has been a turnaround consultant and senior executive in a wide variety of industries for most of his career. He has been an advisor to company management and to secured and unsecured creditors. He has proven leadership skills in financial and operational environments, including financial reporting and analysis, cost reductions, cash flow forecasting and improvements and operational and financial control assessments. He has successfully completed numerous workout and turnaround transactions, acquisitions, sale, bankruptcy filings, private debt offerings and restructuring’s.

Areas of Expertise
Mr. Apathy is an accomplished leader in assuming day-to-day management control of companies in financial distress. He has substantial experience in advising troubled companies and secured lenders on such matters as marketing a company for sale or liquidation, collateral analysis, financial reporting and forensic financial analysis. He has assisted troubled companies in negotiations with secured and unsecured creditors resulting in improved cash flow and profitability. Mr. Apathy has represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, equity holders, with respect to out-of-court turnarounds, orderly wind-downs, receiverships and assignments for the benefit of creditors. He has also assisted trustees in Chapter 11 reorganizations and Chapter 7 liquidations. He is adept at successfully addressing employee issues during difficult financial situations.

Mr. Apathy has advised troubled companies in a wide array of industries including agricultural, manufacturing, construction contracting, retail, property management, printing and technology driven enterprises. These companies have ranged in size from $1 million to $300 million in annual sales.

Previous Experience
Mr. Apathy joined High Ridge Partners in 2001. Prior to that time, he worked for eight years as the Controller and Chief Financial Officer of a highly leveraged manufacturing company in the building materials industry with annual revenues in excess of $100 million. Also, he spent eight years working in the assurance and consulting group at Deloitte & Touche, specializing in middle market companies in the manufacturing and construction industries.

Education and Professional Associations
Mr. Apathy received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University in 1986. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and is certified in Financial Forensics.

Mr. Apathy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois Certified Public Accountant Society, Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
